As a BCBA
, you will play a key role in designing and implementing behavior intervention programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. You will conduct functional behavior assessments, develop behavior support plans, and provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) will help empower individuals and their families to achieve meaningful outcomes and improve their quality of life.
- Appointments are typically Monday - Friday between 9am-5pm mostly in the center with minimal travel time.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement evidence-based interventions to address challenging behaviors and teach new skills
- Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to behavior technicians and other team members involved in implementing behavior intervention programs.
- Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress, evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, and make data-driven decisions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and intervention strategies.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of applied behavior analysis (ABA), including functional behavior assessment, behavior support planning, and data analysis.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical and professional conduct in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines.
