Superior Medical Equipment Company has an immediate opening for a DME Service Technician.
Location: Greeley, CO
Status: Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5
Hourly Pay Range: $22-$24 per hour
REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO:The HME Technician is responsible for the delivery of, and education in, home medical equipment (HME) to clients/patients of the company.
- Reports any misconduct, suspicious, or unethical activities to the corporate officer.
- Represents the Company professionally and courteously in all interactions with clients/patients.
- Schedules and delivers home medical equipment to clients/patients' homes.
- Demonstrates and explains HME equipment in the client's home and obtains appropriate documentation.
- Picks up and cleans home medical equipment as needed.
- Performs light maintenance on delivery van, and maintains mileage/vehicle check log.
- Maintains equipment tracking and lot number tracking for oxygen and solutions.
- Performs equipment maintenance per manufacturer's guidelines.
- Assists in resolving client equipment problems when appropriate.
- Assumes on-call responsibilities in accordance with company policy.
- Reports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy.
- Participates in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
- Participates in company's performance improvement plan as requested by the performance improvement coordinator.
- Participates in company committees when requested.
- Pursues continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
ABOUT YOU:
- Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Minimum Experience:
One (1) year of home medical equipment experience preferred. - Required License:
Valid driver's license, clean record for past three years.
