Job Title: Staff Therapist – Couples Track (Licensed or Pre-Licensed Therapist - Clinical Supervision Available

Althought Therapyis a growing, private-pay group practice specializing in couples therapy, attachment-based work, and trauma-informed care. We are building ahigh-quality, sustainable clinical teamand are hiring

W2 staff therapists who want stability, depth of work, and a long-term professional home.

This role is primarily couples-focused and includes astructured path to a full caseload, clear scheduling expectations, and full employee benefits.

Practice Hours

Monday–Sunday | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Client demand is highest during evenings and weekends, particularly for couples. To support faster caseload growth and equitable referral flow, we hire into specific schedule tracks(outlined below).

Schedule Tracks (Required to Select One)

Track A:
High-Demand / Fast Ramp Track

Ideal for clinicians who want to build a full caseload quickly

  • At least2 evenings per week (until 8:00 PM)
  • Weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday)
  • Primarily couples work

What this track offers:

  • Priority access to new couple referrals
  • Faster ramp to a full caseload (often 3–4 months)
  • Earlier eligibility for raises, bonuses, and schedule flexibility
  • Opportunity to transition off weekends over time once caseload is established

Track B:
Weekday + Evening Track

Ideal for experienced clinicians prioritizing weekday schedules

  • At least2 evenings per week
  • Limited or no weekend availability

Important to know:

  • Caseload ramp is typicallyslower (5–7 months)
  • Fewer high-demand referral windows
  • Salary ceiling may be lower than Track A due to higher marketing cost to build caseload

Note:

Because weekend and evening availability significantly impacts referral flow, candidates must be open to discussing schedule alignment during the interview process.

Position Overview

  • Caseload:Build to ~25 sessions/week on average
  • ~80% Couples
  • ~20% Individuals (adults; occasional minors)
  • Ramp-up period:Expected and supported

Final salary is based onlicensure level, experience, and schedule track.

Approximate salary ranges:

  • Pre-licensed (Psychologist or LPCC only):$65,000 – $75,000
  • Fully licensed:$80,000 – $90,000
  • Seasoned clinicians:$100,000 – $125,000

(Salary assumes sustained caseload; higher-demand schedules support faster growth and earlier increases.)

Who We Can Hire

Fully Licensed Clinicians:

  • Psychologists (PhD / PsyD)
  • LPC / LPCC
  • LCSW
  • LMFT

Pre-Licensed Candidates (Selective):

  • Pre-licensedPsychologists or LPCCs only
  • Supervision is available for these licenses
  • We cannot provide supervision for pre-licensed Social Workers or LMFTs

Clinical Orientation & Fit

Our work is relational, depth-oriented, and integrative. Core approaches include:

  • Psychodynamic therapy
  • Attachment-based therapy
  • Neuroscience-informed care
  • Parts work / IFS
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Gottman Method

Applicants should have experience with couples therapyor a strong interest in developing this specialization, and be comfortable working with:

  • Trauma and childhood trauma

  • Manage and maintain your own clinical schedule
  • Participate in training, consultation, and practice culture
  • Maintain ethical documentation and communication standards
