Marycrest Assisted Living is seeking a QMAP Team Lead to help oversee medication administration, support resident care, and mentor a team of dedicated caregivers. What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers) Lead by Example in Resident Care:- Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Administer medications in accordance with QMAP regulations and community policies.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing leadership promptly.
- Serve as a resource and role model for caregivers during assigned shifts.
- Provide support, training, and guidance to ensure consistent care and adherence to best practices.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work culture.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and medication administration.
- Ensure that QMAP procedures are followed and that med cart safety is maintained.
- Assist with audits, inventory, and med pass observations as needed.
- Build strong relationships with residents and families through excellent communication and empathy.
- Help foster an environment of dignity, respect, and well-being.
- Partner with nursing, dining, housekeeping, and activities teams to support holistic resident care.
- Attend staff meetings and provide shift updates to leadership.
- Current QMAP certification required.
- CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Prior experience in senior care, assisted living, or memory care strongly preferred.
- Experience mentoring or leading teams a plus.
