• Adjusts approach based on patient and family understanding of test procedures and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions or patient issues.
• Prioritizes clinical and administrative work independently and identifies process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Assists physicians in performing specialized cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra‑aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies.
• Evaluates and documents patient status, responding appropriately to ensure optimal outcomes. Demonstrates clinical expertise, competence, and proficiency in all job responsibilities.

Bachelor's, Technical/Vocational School (Required);
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement;
Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement;
Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) – EV Accredited Issuing Body;
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) – EV Accredited Issuing Body;
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body;
Registered Technologist – Cardiac‑Interventional Radiography (R.T(CI)(ARRT)) – EV Accredited Issuing Body;
