You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Lead Surgical Technologist like you to be a part of our team.

The Surgical Technician Lead will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide assistance during surgical procedures performed in the department. The Surgery Technician Lead is experienced in all aspects of aseptic technique, setting up the required equipment and sterile supplies as needed for their assigned cases, pulling cases as needed, and breaking down cases at the end of the procedure.

He/she is knowledgeable regarding instrumentation, equipment and supply needs for all types of surgical procedures. The Surgical Technician Lead performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery. The Surgical Technician Lead may rotate to areas other than his/her assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency.

The Surgical Technician Lead has additional responsibilities of orienting/onboarding new employees and overseeing shift operations with schedules, assignments and coordination of resources.
