Compensation

$21.50 - $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. The initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 - $22.75. All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion.

Overview

At Soar, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their families with a focus on those with autism. We believe in engaging with children early and providing comprehensive support through play-based activities and programs.

Responsibilities
  • Offer one-on-one support to children aged 2-6 in a clinic environment, guided by science-backed, naturalistic therapeutic methods.
  • Implement intervention plans crafted by expert clinicians in behavior analysis, speech, and occupational therapy.
  • Team up with the child's healthcare professionals to provide consistent, high-quality care.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, is required.
  • Previous experience with children aged 2-6, ideally in a professional capacity.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within first 6 weeks of employment (Soar will provide paid training).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer and tablet literacy.
  • Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential.
  • Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client.
  • Preference for college graduates or people pursuing a college degree.
