Job Summary
Regis University School of Pharmacy (RUSOP) invites applications at the Assistant Professor rank for two full-time, 12-month, non-tenure appointments. Regents seeks applicants for community, ambulatory care, or acute care pharmacy practice.
Primary Responsibilities- Deliver curricular content in pharmacotherapy and laboratory courses.
- Maintain an innovative practice site providing patient care services and precepting IPPE/APPE students.
- Engage in service to the school, college, university, and community while maintaining a scholarly agenda.
- Develop instructional materials, assessments, and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments and continuous feedback.
- Deliver and facilitate learning sessions in pharmacotherapy and skills-based learning courses.
- li>Establish and/or maintain a clinical pharmacy practice site.
- Provide patient care services.
- Precept pharmacy students during clinical rotations to meet programmatic outcomes.
- Establish and maintain a scholarly agenda.
- Collaborate with faculty, clinicians, and students on research projects and publications.
- Pursue internal and external funding opportunities to support scholarly agenda.
- Contribute service to the School, College, University, Profession, and Community.
- Engage in professional organizations and maintain licensure and certifications relevant to practice.
Monday–Friday, approximately 8:30am–5:00pm. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for meetings, events, or additional responsibilities. Requires standing for extended periods during classroom or laboratory instruction.
Required Qualifications- Pharm.
D. (or equivalent). - Residency or Fellowship Training or Clinical Practice Experience (or equivalent).
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice as a pharmacist in the state of Colorado.
- A minimum of two years of professional pharmacy practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Completion of PGY2 residency training.
- Completion of PGY1 residency training with a minimum of one additional year of professional pharmacy practice experience.
- Professional Pharmacy Board Certification (or eligible for Board Certification).
- Prior experience with course design, instruction, and evaluation.
- Prior experience in teaching in an interdisciplinary and integrated curriculum. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to efficiently manage documents, analyze data, and communicate effectively via email.

Pay Rate: $102,000 annually
