Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Health

ONE Division C.A.R.E. (Clinical Assets Resourcing Excellence) Float Pool Registered Nurse for Medical / Surgical / Telemetry units, you will be part of an amazing group of 7 Denver metro area hospitals that include:
The Medical Center of Aurora, North Suburban Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, Rose Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center and Swedish Medical Center.

The C.A.R.E. Float Pool RN will utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes and communicate need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations. Promotes a positive image of nursing and promotes collegiality among healthcare team members.

C.A.R.E Pool RNs are required to work the following:

Weekly 3 – 12 hour shifts, weekend commitment, holiday requirement, and demographic location determined by the Seasonal Staffing Program criteria Health

ONE C.A.R.E. Pool.

Health

ONE C.A.R.E Pool employees will be required to float to 3-6 of the Health

ONE facilities. You will work at one hospital in a 1-2 month block schedule.

  • You will be part of an elite group of experienced nurses supporting staffing needs throughout the Health

    ONE Denver metro hospital system.

  • You will bring your expertise to the following specialty areas:
    Medical-Surgical-Telemetry.

What qualifications you will need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Tier IV (General RN) Compact RN license or Colorado RN license accepted upon hire, CO license required within 90 days of hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required at time of hire. National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) can be obtained after hire.

Education: Graduate of a certified School of Nursing. BSN strongly preferred.

Experience: Minimum of at least two years of RN experience in acute care Medical Surgical Telemetry Units for Tier IV.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Values & Standards of Nursing Practice.. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
