Position SummaryResponsible for meeting the daily personal care needs of community residents. Anticipates, identifies and reports care needs.
Essential Duties- Attend to the personal care needs of residents in a timely manner and provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as requested.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, meals, laundry, oral hygiene, and other personal care tasks, attending to individual needs.
- Anticipate and identify resident care needs, reporting to supervisor (e.g., hygiene, eyewear, skin issues, lost items).
- Respond to family members’ needs as appropriate.
- Maintain open communication with supervisor and peers to promote resident issue awareness.
- Monitor the safety and well‑being of residents.
- Report suspicion of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of resources as required by regulation.
- Report changes in resident status or health to supervisor.
- Document resident condition as directed.
- Assist residents with prescribed daily medication routine as appropriate and in accordance with state law.
- Ensure proper documentation occurs.
- Complete work orders to communicate necessary replacements or repairs.
- Attend, participate, and contribute to monthly staff meetings addressing resident and departmental needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- One (1) year of elder care experience preferred.
- Knowledgeable with Electronic Health Management systems.
- Strong self‑management and organization skills.
- Strong multi‑tasking abilities; flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
- Moderate physical activity: handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
- Constant standing, walking, grasping; frequent stooping, reaching above shoulder height, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, squatting.
- May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions, communicable diseases, and household chemicals.
- Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently; may be subject to frequent interruptions.
- Interacts with clients, family members, and visitors frequently.

Shift and SalaryAlternate shift:
Saturdays 5:00 PM–5:30 AM.
Hourly rate: $19.00 – $20.95.
