As a Virtual Health Medical Assistant, you are a crucial link between our patients and providers in a digital‑first environment. You'll blend your clinical knowledge with excellent communication skills to ensure a seamless and supportive virtual care experience. We are seeking a proactive and adaptable professional who is excited by the intersection of technology and healthcare. Responsibilities
  • Champion the Virtual Patient

    Experience:

    Guide patients through the telehealth process, from setting up their virtual visit to ensuring they are comfortable and ready to connect with their provider. You'll be a friendly, reassuring voice that builds confidence in digital healthcare.
  • Provide Remote Clinical Support:
    Conduct virtual patient intake by gathering and updating medical histories, confirming medications, and documenting the reason for the visit in our EMR system.
  • Facilitate Telehealth Sessions:
    Assist healthcare providers during virtual consultations by managing patient queues, sharing relevant information, and coordinating follow‑up actions like e‑prescribing and scheduling future appointments.
  • Master Digital Health Tools:
    Become an expert in our telehealth platform and other digital tools. You will troubleshoot basic technical issues for patients and providers to ensure consultations run smoothly.
  • Manage Digital Administrative Tasks:
    Handle administrative duties with precision, including managing electronic health records, coordinating virtual referrals, and communicating with patients through secure messaging platforms.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant, Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program.
  • Active certification in one of the above programs.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a primary care, speciality or urgent/emergent care clinic.
  • High technical proficiency and comfort with learning new software, including EMR systems and video conferencing platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey empathy and clarity through digital channels to include text, email and video chats.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic virtual environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Enjoy working in an office‑based environment. Amaze Health is located at Bellview and I‑25.
