Saturday 5:00 AM–1:30 PM (shift adjusted to meet clinic needs)
$19.00 /hr – $21.00 /hr
Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis is a computer‑focused position requiring proficiency in multiple databases, including EMR, Central Registry, and Medical Billing systems. Intermediate to expert abilities and knowledge of Google Workspace are required. The role is critical in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of a busy clinic, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the mid‑shift/float at Colfax, covering extended hours and providing schedule flexibility to fill in.
- Utilize multiple systems (EMR, Central Registry, Medical Billing) to manage patient and administrative data.
- Remain actively engaged throughout the shift via Google Chat and email to ensure timely communication and responsiveness with team members and departments.
- Answer and route phone calls appropriately; take and relay messages as needed.
- Provide accurate information regarding intake and transfer procedures, both in person and over the phone.
- Distribute office correspondence and faxes to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain effective communication among all clinics and all departments.
- Check in patients using Methasoft (EMR), and accurately enter all new patient information.
- Collect patient fees, ensure accurate entry into EMR, and promptly secure all payments.
- Enter and discharge patients in Central Registry, ensuring registration is completed before dosing.
- Upload patient photos, collect fees (if applicable), and confirm all consents are signed before medical intake appointments.
- Uphold professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times.
- Occasionally deliver medications, in compliance with company insurance and DEA regulations.
- Prepare intake materials, assemble charts.
- Check Medicaid eligibility monthly and upload verification into Methasoft.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for staff and patients.
- Support/management of inventory control, equipment maintenance, and system organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Occasionally perform light physical work, including lifting up to 20 pounds.
