Job Description

At Soar Autism Center, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum. Our play-based approach draws from the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a fun and engaging, play-based form of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.

We welcome qualified candidates for the role of Play & Learning Specialist (Behavior Technician / RBT). This role is essential for delivering high-quality, child-centered care.

• Work one-on-one with children aged 2–6 in our clinic, using play to teach new skills and support growth.
• Implement therapy plans designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using play-based ABA principles.
• Encourage social, communication, and learning skills through engaging activities and routines.
• Support and partner with families by sharing updates and celebrating progress.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to grow your skills and maintain RBT certification.

• Strong preference for enrollment or completion of a degree program (bonus for Child Development, Psychology, or related fields).
• Excitement about working with children; prior experience with kids in any setting (teaching, child care, coaching, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within the first 6 weeks of employment (Soar provides paid training).
• Note:
  
  RBT certification required for CO Springs location.
• Reliable transportation to training location and local center; punctuality is essential.
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to sit/kneel on the floor, lift up to 50 lbs., and move quickly to support a child’s needs.
• Comfort using computers and tablets for session notes.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn.

• $21.00 – $28.00/hour starting pay with regular bonus and promotion opportunities.
• All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion.
