Pediatric Occupational Therapist - NE Denver, CO
About Soar Autism CenterSoar Autism Center provides transformative, interdisciplinary services for children with autism and their families, focusing on early intervention and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Role OverviewDesign and implement naturalistic occupational therapy for young children aged 2‑6 in a center‑based environment, collaborating with ABA, speech therapy, psychology, and family teams.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute targeted interventions to enhance gross motor, fine motor, feeding, and daily activity skills.
- Conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical domains.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians, integrating OT goals into their therapy sessions.
- Monitor client progress, revise treatment plans, and communicate with team members and families.
- Build strong partnerships with families, setting collaborative goals and offering dedicated coaching and support throughout their journey.
- A degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a related field.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children with autism or related developmental disorders.
- Strong understanding of early intervention and integrated care approaches.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism.
