A PE-backed energy infrastructure platform is hiring a Manager of FP&A to lead the financial planning & analysis function. This role will own budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, act as a key business partner to senior leadership, and play a visible role with the board and investors. It is a high-impact role with significant exposure and equity upside.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the company’s annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages to management and the board.
  • Perform variance analysis vs. budget and forecast, identify key drivers, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze revenue, margins, operating expenses, G&A, and capital spend across business segments.
  • Partner with operations and business unit leaders to develop assumptions and support data-driven decisions.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close in coordination with the accounting team.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and presentations for leadership, the board, lenders, and investors.
  • Support equity and debt fundraising efforts, including maintaining data rooms and investor/lender materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to scale with the business.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (MBA or other advanced degree a plus).
  • Active CPA license strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including FP&A.
  • Public accounting experience at a Big Four firm or similar highly regarded background.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and core financial statements.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with ERP/BI tools is a plus.
  • Preferred:
    Oil & gas, midstream, or energy infrastructure experience.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment, with high ownership and limited hand holding.
  • Curiosity, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate data into clear insights.
  • Annual bonus target: 20–30% of base.
  • Equity units in aligned with value-creation plan.
