Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Assistant Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $130,000 to $160,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures and support accurate financial reporting in line with United States and international standards.
  • Prepare timely financial information assist with budgets forecasts quarterly narratives and annual audit work papers.
  • Review job cost and project profitability perform financial modeling and provide analysis for initiatives and special projects.
  • Reconcile intercompany activity across currencies research international tax matters and support payroll reviews with human resources teams.
  • Participate in internal control efforts including certification processes and oversee daily activities within the accounting and finance group.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor degree in accounting or finance with a master degree preferred.
  • Possess a CPA license or be strongly prepared for the credential.
  • 10+ years of experience with preference for time spent in consulting environments.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical problem solving and communication skills with advanced Excel ability.
  • Use enterprise resource planning systems confidently with experience supporting implementations considered helpful.
Qualifications
  • Lead team members by assigning work conducting reviews offering coaching and maintaining alignment with company policies.
  • Provide accurate analysis for leadership support including financial modeling job cost reviews and project profitability assessments.
  • Understand foreign operations including tax treaties payroll considerations and multi currency reconciliations.
  • Manage documentation for internal audits system controls and organizational certification processes.
  • Adapt well to dynamic environments through proactive planning clear communication and strong organizational habits.
