THE POSITION

The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Director of FP&A and will be responsible for supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and operations functions within the organization. This role requires strong analytic and interpersonal skills, prioritizing collaboration with cross‑functional teams to drive informed decision‑making and supporting strategic financial initiatives. The successful candidate will be self‑motivated and have a desire to build and improve processes while possessing a background in business analytics and data visualization.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term strategic planning
  • Drive the annual budgeting process, working closely with key stakeholders to establish financial targets and key performance indicators
  • Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for NOI improvement
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support decision‑making across various functional areas
  • Support month‑end close by partnering with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and accruals
  • Prepare and distribute management reporting packages, including variance analysis and executive‑ready commentary
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A processes
  • Lead ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects, leveraging data analysis and visualization tools to deliver actionable insights
THE DETAILS
  • Location:

    Headquarters in Denver, CO, in‑office 3‑4 days per week
  • Travel:
    Less than 5% domestically
  • Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 + Bonus
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass comprehensive background screening
MUST‑HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of professional work experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • Background in FP&A with data visualization experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a private equity portfolio company preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial models with ability to own and maintain operating asset models
  • Dynamic with an ability to take ownership of complex and high‑impact responsibilities
  • Collaborative with a positive attitude
  • Driven and self‑motivated
  • Detail oriented with outstanding written, technical and communication skills
  • Results oriented with a track record of driving results across multiple channels and initiatives
  • Advanced Excel skills
