Senior Accountant

Our client is a VC-backed
, tech-enabled
, home services company based in Denver, CO.

They're seeking an Assistant Controller to join the organization as their first in-house accounting/ finance hire
!

It's important that you've have experience working at a complex organization to be seriously considered for this position -- this company manufactures and sells physical products and offers installation and maintainance services; they have lots of different costs,
high transaction volumes
, contractors and sub-contractors, and they do work across several states. Consumers access their services via app.

You should expect to own the financial reporting cadence for the business, including recurring close processes
, paired with longer strategic initiatives
, optimizing and analyzing financials. As the company grows, this individual will also own the task of implementing new tools and integrating automation and controls.

• 6-10 years of accounting/finance experince
• Ideally public accounting firm background + CPA
• Ability to own projects start to finish such as closing the books, building financial models, managing payables, creating financial reports, etc.
• Ability to create structure; process-minded
• Ability to work in complex, growing, and fast-paced environment
• Enthusiastic about in-person work -- this position is in-office 4 days a week
