Aboutthe Role
The Portfolio Manager III manages and grows investment portfolios while serving as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients. This role blends portfolio management, trade execution, and client engagement to deliver customized investment strategies aligned with client goals and risk parameters. You’ll partner closely with relationship managers and the Investment Research team to implement strategies, monitor performance, and provide timely insights. The position plays a key role in revenue growth by identifying new opportunities and delivering holistic investment solutions across the firm.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Manage assigned portfolios by monitoring performance, assessing risk, and recommending adjustments based on market conditions and client objectives.
- Execute equity, fixed income, and alternative investment trades accurately and in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Serve as the primary investment contact for clients, delivering proactive communication, timely responses, and regular portfolio reviews.
- Prepare and present client reviews, provide strategic investment insights, and collaborate with relationship managers to address client needs.
- Develop asset allocation strategies and planning tools to support cash flow analysis, wealth planning, and deeper client engagement.
- Identify new business opportunities through consultative selling, networking, RFP support, and onboarding of new investment accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7–10 years of investment management experience.
- 5–7 years of business development experience in a local market.
- CFP or CFA designation required.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills; CRM experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
- Competitive base salary: $121,000 - $194,000/YR, plus strong bonus potential.
