What You Will Do:
* Manage and oversee the debt team responsible for daily debt transactions including mortgage payments, DLCs, payoffs, etc.
* Responsible for month/quarter end reconciliation reviews and approval of journal entries.
* Complete and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly variance analysis of debt and interest accounts.
* Strategize and work closely with the team to ensure month/quarter end deadlines are hit.
* Identify process inefficiencies within the current flow and work with other team members to drive process change.
* Collaborating among departments to share accounting data and improve efficiencies.
* Acts as Team Leader including mentoring new hires, leading projects, and resolving issues. Participates in special projects that impact policies and procedures.
