A growing and stable manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with operations, improving systems, and helping scale a business in growth mode.

The Controller will own the monthly close, financial reporting, cost accounting, and ERP optimization, while managing a small accounting team. The company currently has approximately 103 employees, $60M in revenue, and is on a path toward $100M+ in sales.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting function, including supervision of at least 2 staff
• Prepare and present accurate monthly financial statements
• Own the monthly close process (7-day close or faster)
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing and inventory
• Oversee purchasing, demand planning, and working capital management
• Partner closely with operations and production teams across 5 manufacturing lines
• Maintain and improve a mid-to-large ERP system; clean up prior ERP implementations
• Build budgets, forecasts, and financial models in collaboration with Sales & Marketing
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
• Drive automation and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Support R&D tax credit analysis and documentation
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong background in manufacturing accounting
• Extensive experience with cost accounting, standard costing, and inventory
• ERP experience required (Acumatica strongly preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, variance analysis, KPIs)
• Experience supporting a growing or scaling business
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and production teams
• Spanish bilingual is a plus

Additional Details:

• Payroll is handled by HR
• Bonus is discretionary, up to $15K
• Preferred start date:
  Mid-February
