POSITION OVERVIEW
The Commercial Junior Escrow Officer supports National Escrow Officers in the preparation and closing of complex commercial real estate transactions, both local and national. This role is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the escrow process, including customer service, file management, document preparation, and post-closing disbursements. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

- This role sits onsite at our Denver, CO office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist National Escrow Officers with the preparation and closing of complex commercial real estate transactions on a local and national level
- Provide timely and professional customer service to clients, realtors, lenders, and attorneys throughout the escrow process
- Open new escrow orders and enter transaction data accurately into escrow systems
- Request, collect, and review documentation necessary for closing
- Prepare escrow documents, settlement statements, and related closing materials in accordance with company policies, underwriting guidelines, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Review title commitments and documents, identify title requirements, and assist in formulating curative solutions as needed
- Maintain complete and accurate escrow files and records in compliance with company standards
- Perform administrative and paperless processing functions related to escrow transactions
- Coordinate and process post-closing disbursements and ensure proper file completion
- Exercise independent judgment to address and resolve issues that may arise during the escrow and closing process
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet closing timelines and customer expectations
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid State Producer’s License
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Residential Escrow Officer, Escrow Assistant, or Commercial Escrow Assistant
- Working knowledge of escrow and title industry concepts, practices, and procedures
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Ability to calculate figures such as interest, commissions, pr orations, rents, and escrow/title fees
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience assisting with commercial escrow transactions
- Familiarity with title standards and company underwriting guidelines
- Experience reviewing legal documents and analyzing them as they relate to escrow and closing
- Experience working in a paperless escrow environment
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external customers
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $26.00 - $33.00 per hour plus additional commissions based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability);
