About The Role
The Sr Asset Valuation Specialist - Private Equity analyzes and processes transactions related to Private Security and Real Estate valuations. The role involves effective communication with clients, authorized third parties, and asset sponsors to resolve discrepancies or follow up on requests. The Senior Specialist adheres to trust regulations and security standards including our customer identification program, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Internal Revenue Code, and other applicable banking and trust regulations set forth by IRS and regulatory agencies.
The Senior Specialist supports business units and leadership, demonstrates independent judgment with minimal supervision, and performs a wide range of services, some of which are complex and confidential in nature.
- Process cash and securities transactions in the trust accounting system related to investment valuations and asset sponsor contact updates.
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and according to the relevant documentation.
- Ensure all documentation related to the transaction is appropriately archived and noted in Salesforce.
- Review and approve transactions submitted below a threshold specified in the Asset Valuation Job Aid.
- Provide support to the department with system and procedural analysis by working with Leadership and advising on controls and process improvement as necessary.
- Proactively communicate with asset sponsors or government agencies via phone or email to validate requests and understand the path to completion for each transaction.
- Quickly remediates any issues or concerns arising from the sponsor or agency contact.
- Communicate findings to end clients as needed.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing based on risk/business needs.
- Think strategically with sharp analytical skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactively communicate with clients via phone or email to advise them of the status of their request.
- Remediate any issues or concerns arising from the client contact and ensure all procedures related to client contact are adhered to.
- Process complex activities related to bulk vendor valuations and bulk client valuation notices.
- Lead institutional client conversions and de-conversions. Create action plans and ensure timely execution of related processing activities. Communicate with Sales / Service teams on status of the transaction.
- Other duties as assigned that are in line with the role’s core responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 5 years related experience required.
- Demonstrated data entry skills required.
- Previous Financial Services experience in a transaction processing environment required.
The pay range for this role is $23.98 to $29.00. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, with details provided during the recruitment process.
Primary Location: Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s).
