Senior Lead FP&A Analyst; Level IV-V

Overview

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Denver, CO that is seeking a Senior Lead FP&A Analyst (Level IV-V). We are looking for Colorado-based candidates to work a full-time, hybrid/remote schedule. The impact you'll make:
Help bring care delivery and health plan operations closer together. In this senior individual contributor role, you'll be a key player between clinical leaders and business stakeholders—turning complex financial data into clear, executive-ready insights that shape operating plans, resource allocation, and strategic decisions. What you ll do:

• Own planning & forecasting;
  Design and run the FP&A calendar, deliver accurate forecasts, and drive scenario planning with best in class models
• Model what matters;
  Build and maintain sophisticated Excel/Power BI models to evaluate performance, unit economics, and
  -what if- scenarios across care settings and network options
• Tell the story;
  Synthesize signal from noise, distill deep analysis into a few decisive takeaways, craft compelling PowerPoint narratives, and brief senior leaders
• Be the connective tissue;
  Partner closely with clinical, operations, and health plan teams to align on drivers, assumptions, and outcomes;
  Strengthen two-way communication and trust
• Raise the bar;
  Identify risks/opportunities, lead variance and trend analyses (P&L, cash flow, cost/volume/rate), and recommend actions to improve performance
• Step up when it counts;
  Serve as a trusted backup to the FP&A Manager;
  Jump in to unblock timelines and drive resolution across interdependent work streams
• Uphold control & clarity;
  Support internal controls/audit readiness and elevate forecasting discipline, templates, and reporting standards

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Core FP&A excellence: 5-8+ years in FP&A with rigorous planning, budgeting, and forecasting ownership (deadlines are real and you hit them)
• 3-5+ years demonstrated FP&A experience, including building business cases and executive-ready deliverables
• Advanced Excel;
  Working knowledge of Power BI
• Modeling mastery:
  Advanced Excel (nested logic, scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses) and strong Power BI; comfort in the weeds with large datasets
• Executive communication:
  Crisp storytelling, sharp PowerPoint, and poise with senior stakeholders
• Business partnership:
  Track record of building trusted relationships and influencing decisions across functions
• Financial fluency:
  Strong grasp of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and unit economics
• Mindset:
  Curious, driven, resilient—you iterate, learn fast, and keep the same energy after setbacks

• MBA or similar advanced degree
• Experience in healthcare, insurance/health plan, care delivery, private equity, Big 4 consulting, or a finance leadership development program
• Exposure to AI productivity tools (e.g., Copilot) and eagerness to experiment

You ll architect the FP&A rhythm for a high-visibility team, translate complex operational realities into financial clarity, and directly shape decisions at the intersection of care and business.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
