Junior Accountant

Hybrid (4 days a week onsite required, sometimes 5 if client required)

Calculated Hire is hiring a Accountant I to join our leading telecommunications client’s Business Planning team in Greenwood Village, CO. This role primarily focuses on damage claim recoveries and tool order reconciliation
. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel. You ll work across teams to ensure accurate reporting, financial integrity, and seamless coordination with recovery vendors and internal departments.

• Record daily deposits from lockbox and scanned check payments
• Coordinate stop payments and reclasses with internal Accounting
• Reconcile and post ACH receipts from recovery vendors and USIC
• Perform month-end reconciliation and reporting on damage claims
• Manage purchase orders (POs) and non-recurring charges (NRCs) for recovery-related expenses

• Manage ARs for tool/equipment orders across all Management Areas
• Transact SAP Sales Orders for field equipment deliveries
• Maintain Smartsheet logs for order visibility across regions
• Generate monthly spend reports and support requests for month-end close and forecast reviews

• 0–3 years of Accounting experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Comfort working with internal/external stakeholders
• Familiarity with SAP and Smartsheet is a plus
