Job Description & How to Apply Below

Madison Hunt is partnering with a leading midstream energy infrastructure platform backed by a top-tier alternative asset manager. The firm operates critical energy infrastructure across the US, including natural gas pipelines, processing facilities, storage assets, and transportation systems that form the backbone of North American energy markets. The platform's pipeline spans traditional midstream assets and innovative clean energy solutions—renewable natural gas, carbon capture infrastructure, hydrogen transport, and power generation for data centers and emerging technologies.

The Capital Markets & Project Finance group manages complex project financings and capital deployment across a multi-billion dollar asset base, serving as the strategic interface with institutional investors and lenders. Team members work directly with senior leadership on transformational infrastructure investments balancing energy reliability with decarbonization goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project finance activities from origination to close for large-scale midstream and energy infrastructure projects, serving as primary liaison with institutional investors and lending syndicates
  • Develop financial models to evaluate complex capital structures, including project debt, tax equity, joint ventures, and structured finance solutions
  • Structure and negotiate financing agreements across traditional midstream assets and emerging clean energy infrastructure
  • Prepare investment committee materials and present recommendations to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders
  • Coordinate commercial, technical, and construction teams to drive projects from development through operations
Ideal Candidate:
  • 3-4+ years in project finance, energy/infrastructure investment banking, or infrastructure private equity with midstream or power exposure
  • Strong financial modeling with experience structuring midstream, power, or renewable energy transactions
  • Track record interfacing with institutional investors, commercial banks, or sponsors on energy infrastructure deals
  • Deep understanding of energy markets, midstream operations, or power generation economics
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment managing cross-functional initiatives
