Corporate Finance, Financial Manager, CFO, Financial Consultant
Bulk Fuel, Oil & Gas, Energy, or Private Equity Background Preferred
Location: Denver, CO (with 1–2x/week commute to Wiggins, CO)
Current Revenue: $50M and growing rapidly
Target: Multi-billion
We’re currently buying 8 companies.
That’s the short version. Aviation fuel, propane, fuel contracting, fuel management software—across the board. The CEO is doing all of it solo right now. That’s not sustainable. We need a CFO who’s already been through this kind of growth and who sees $50M not as a limit, but as a launchpad.
What you’ll actually do:- Take over the financial oversight of 8 simultaneous acquisitions and be ready for more
- Handle acquisition integrations from start to finish
- Compile and analyze financials for a growing, fragmented org structure
- Oversee transactions with banks (new relationships, debt structuring, etc.)
- Work directly with current investors and bring new ones to the table
- Build the financial backbone of a company aiming to go from $50M to $1B+ quickly
Someone who’s:
- Experienced with institutional capital
- Been through M&A cycles.
- Fluent in Quick Books and Excel (this is not just a PowerPoint and delegation role)
- Based in or near Denver, or willing to move
- Excited by the idea of being one of the first 10 execs at a company that might outgrow its sector
- Not allergic to commuting to Wiggins once or twice a week
- You’ve already got a network of investors or know how to speak their language
- You’ve seen a similar playbook work before in bulk fuel, oil & gas, energy, or private equity-backed rollups or been a part of one.
We’re a small, ambitious new group. In 12 months, we’ll likely triple our size. You’ll report to a CEO who’s deep in the weeds, who needs a CFO that can own the finance side with as much drive as he’s bringing to the deal table. No legacy systems. No boardroom gatekeeping. You’ll move fast, see impact immediately, and help steer the ship.
Thisis not:
- A maintenance job
- A comfy role at a mature company
- A place for someone who needs layers of structure above and below them
