Key Responsibilities

You will support client engagements by coordinating day‑to‑day interactions, reviewing staff work products, driving delivery to meet deadlines, developing internal team members, and managing engagement economics. You will continuously build on technical competence by staying up‑to‑date on trends, developments, and legislation that impact our clients.

Skills & Attributes for Success
  • Understand complex commercial real and personal property tax concepts and apply knowledge to client situations.
  • Deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services that exceed client expectations.
  • Identify and offer opportunities for tax planning and special services.
  • Prepare practical approaches to the client’s tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant property tax consulting experience or equivalent business/industry experience.
  • CPA or JD.
  • Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

  • Proven record in a professional services environment.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Comprehensive compensation, benefits, and performance recognition. Base salary ranges: $105,100–$192,600 nationwide; $126,100–$218,900 for NYC Metro, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento). Total rewards include medical, dental, pension, 401(k), and paid time off options.
  • Hybrid model: most external client‑serving roles work together in person 40–60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
