Regional Finance Manager
Location: Denver or Fort Collins, CO
Travel: Regular travel to branches in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs; quarterly travel to Utah
About the RoleWe’re looking for a Regional Finance Manager to act as a true finance business partner to branch and regional leadership. This role goes beyond traditional accounting — you’ll be embedded in the business, traveling to branches, working directly with General Managers and branch leaders, and using financial insights to influence performance, forecasting, and strategic decisions.

- Partner directly with General Managers and branch leaders to support forecasting, budgeting, job costing, and operational decision‑making
- Review weekly and monthly financial results with leadership, explain performance vs. budget, and recommend actions to improve results
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the business, translating financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Own the month‑end close process for assigned entities
- Review, verify, and reconcile monthly trial balances; prepare and post required journal entries
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations and monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage approval of bills and ensure accurate G/L coding
- Work closely with the Accounting Director and Corporate Controller on month‑end and financial reporting
- Analyze historical, current, and forecasted financial performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Provide weekly financial snapshot updates to the Corporate Controller
- Build, improve, and maintain reporting that helps branch and regional leaders better understand financial performance
- Monitor cash flow, reserves, and other key financial metrics
- Lead and support the annual budgeting and forecasting process in partnership with GMs and department heads
- Assist with annual financial audits
- Support integration of acquisitions, including financial reporting, process alignment, and performance tracking
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred but not required
- 4–8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance
- Experience supporting multiple entities, locations, or regions strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance
- Advanced Excel skills; high proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Experience with service‑based or job‑costing environments (Service Titan a plus)
- Analytical, proactive, and solution‑oriented — you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Comfortable traveling to branches and building relationships with non‑finance leaders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to operations teams
- Highly visible, field‑based finance role with real influence on business performance
