As a Senior Analyst in FSO EDGE State & Local Tax, you will deliver tax compliance and consulting services, recognize and resolve problem areas, and collaborate across practice areas to meet client needs.

• Analyze an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
• Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate these to our clients.
• Research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
• Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients’ tax activities.
• Research clients’ business operations and build long‑lasting relationships tailored to their needs.
• Work with a motivated team of professionals.
• Build effective long‑term relationships with our clients.
• Maintain your reputation by constantly updating and sharing technical knowledge.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline or graduate degree in Tax or Law.
• Progress toward CPA or Enrolled Agent license.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in professional services or tax organization.
• Thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems and laws within your area of technical professionalism.
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, and confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuing learning.

Preferred

• Understanding of state and local partnership tax.
• Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with return preparation software.
• Experience working in diverse teams.
• Ability to adapt work style to internal and client team members.
