Chief Financial Officer

We have been retained by a leading commercial general contractor to run a CFO search process. Our client is well established and in a very strong position, with more than 40 years in business and revenues in excess of USD $100M. We are seeking a classic dual threat: someone highly strategic and yet hands-on. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the CFO will oversee all financial, IT, HR, and Legal aspects, driving the company's sustained growth and financial health.

This pivotal role requires an executive who can provide expert financial guidance, optimize performance, and ensure compliance, while actively managing financial operations within a dynamic team environment.

• Drive overall financial strategy, partnering with executive leadership on short- and long-range planning for growth and profitability.
• Direct all financial administration, including policy development, accounting systems, budgeting, risk management, and taxation.
• Oversee all accounting functions: audits, financial reporting, GL, project accounting, AP, credit policies, and collections.
• Lead annual budget processes, develop forecasts, and analyze financial results to drive strategic and tactical recommendations.
• Monitor, manage, and maximize cash flow for optimal liquidity and financial stability.
• Manage and expand relationships with banking, bonding, insurance, and the financial community.
• Oversee company real estate affairs, manage insurance procurement, and lead risk management efforts including subcontractor prequalification and claims resolution.
