As an Associate Trader at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you are here to join the growing Trading team and help us create an entertaining betting proposition that appeals to Fanatics customers. Reporting into one of the Trading Managers, you will be an important team player, assisting Trading with various tasks including data analysis and trading games in real time.
This role is a part time position, based out of our downtown office in Denver, CO.
The hourly pay for this role is $30.00 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The part time position is typically about 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Work across the Trading department to help other traders with various tasks.
- Perform analysis in real time to determine the probability of various sporting events occurring.
- Ensure Bet Fanatics’ prices are accurate at all times.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across the Trading department.
- Work closely with other teams within the business to create a scalable betting experience for our customers - driven by data and competitor analysis.
- Ensure that Fanatics are putting the customer at the heart of our Trading strategies.
- Where assigned, trade live games across NBA, MLB, NFL and all the other major sports in the US.
- Currently in school pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Entry Level Position, no industry experience necessary.
- A real passion for sport and an inherent understanding of what sports fans want. A particular knowledge for US major leagues and college sports is an advantage.
- Ability to understand price movements and gauge the impact a series of events would have on underlying probabilities.
- Preference to work in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking is necessary.
- Team-first mentality, with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done and effectively work cross-functionally across different teams at FBG.
- Willingness to ask questions and learn along with excellent problem solving skills.
- Flexible work schedules will be required, including evenings, weekends, and occasionally holiday.
