Position: Team Member - free movies! - 19.29/ hour

Team Member - free movies! – $19.29/hr

Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs, and/or employee availability, as either variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular or full‑time hourly employees.

Primary responsibility is ensuring our guests receive exceptional service, whether in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Handling of emergency situations when called upon.
  • General cleaning duties.
  • Compliance with our company dress code.
Box Office
  • Operate POS system, ensuring accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons.
  • Up‑sell / suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
  • Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
  • Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy.
Concession
  • Operate POS system with accurate cash handling and concession stock inventory.
  • Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Operate, prepare, and clean all concession equipment.
  • Up‑sell / suggestive selling.
  • Comply with all local, state and federal food safety laws.
  • Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods.
  • Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable.
  • Required to read and understand training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination.
Usher
  • Tear tickets, collect and deposit stubs, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.
  • Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
  • Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
  • Enforce the MPAA rating system.
  • Conduct in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality and prevent content theft.
  • Report problems, discrepancies or unusual situations to management.
  • Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
  • Clean auditoriums and maintain clean restrooms, lobby areas, hallways and other outside spaces.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Pay Scale

$19.29 per hour.

Qualifications

Education/Experience
  • Completion of the Cast Certification Program as a cast member and box office cashier, or progress toward completion.
  • For alcohol duties, complete legal state or local training and obtain the required certificate, plus Regal Responsible Beverage Server training.
Language Ability

Good public speaking and listening skills; respond clearly and directly.

Math Ability

Perform calculations with speed and accuracy; identify and correct errors.

Reasoning Ability

Identify problems, gather relevant data, note possible causes, evaluate alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence.

Personal Skills

Excellent communication skills with customers, co‑workers, and management; set goals, budget time, and prioritize to achieve objectives.

Physical Demands

Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, or hear.

Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

May occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.

Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
