Verdantas is seeking a Staff Hydrogeologist I for our Northfield, Ohio, office.

What You'll Do:
* Conduct field investigations to collect environmental samples, oversee drilling operations, install groundwater monitoring wells, and collect groundwater-related data; oversee soil vapor investigations
* Analysis of basic hydrogeological data using various techniques
* Prepare detailed reports and maps to present findings and recommendations
* Monitor groundwater levels and quality, and assess the impact of human activities on groundwater resources
* Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals on multidisciplinary projects
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
* Provide technical support for groundwater remediation and water resource management projects

What You Bring:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field
* 0-3 years of experience
* Knowledge of groundwater and soil vapor principles and environmental regulations
* Ability to use field equipment and interpret basic hydrogeologic data
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration
* Generally work in both office and field settings
* May require frequent travel to various field sites
* May involve exposure to varying weather conditions and rough terrain
* May involve occasional lifting of equipment and materials
** Salary Range:**$55,000.00 - $58,000.00
