Electrical Senior Estimator

A nationally recognized electrical design-build contractor with projects across the U.S. is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to support complex commercial and industrial pursuits.

This firm specializes in technically demanding design-build projects and maintains licensing in 40+ states. The estimating team plays a critical role in shaping strategy, improving cost efficiency, and positioning the company to win high-profile work.

• Prepare and revise estimates, proposals, and change orders
• Perform detailed takeoffs and oversee team takeoff efforts
• Lead bids by fully interpreting RFPs and construction documents
• Manage design-build estimates
  , identifying scope gaps and unknowns
• Request and level vendor and supplier quotes
• Partner with business development and project management on pricing strategy
• Support project handoff from estimating to operations
• Train and mentor junior estimators
• Track cost trends and contribute to process improvements
• Conduct weekly follow-up on pending bids

• 8+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Experience in large commercial, industrial, or water treatment projects preferred
• Proficiency in Accubid or similar estimating software
• Strong working knowledge of NEC and electrical theory
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittals
• Experience with design-build concepts (one-lines, feeder/branch analysis)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field OR Electrical Journeyman License
• Limited travel flexibility as needed
