Position: Mechanical National Lead - OnSite Energy & Power (Denver)

Description

This position is responsible for the leadership of the OSEP Mechanical discipline nationwide. The individual that fills this position will be responsible for oversight of mechanical solutions, coordinating engagement and collaboration across all offices to propagate core Mechanical capabilities, solution standards and best practices, delivery processes and coordination that will position the organization for significant growth. This position will have significant influence on the prioritization of annual business objectives related to the Mechanical Engineering discipline.

  • Direct most significant programs and utilize role to arrive at best solutions and delivery practices leveraging collaboration across the practice.
  • Organize, lead, and inspire collaboration across all OSEP Mechanical teams, building professional community and collaboration to advance best practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate across teams to recruit, hire, and develop mechanical capability expectations and mechanical leadership throughout the OSEP organization.
  • Develop market differentiating solutions that drive project value to build brand and increase competitiveness. Advance mechanical solution‑making best practices across the GP.
  • Expand delivery practices for surety of delivery and continuous improvement of cost through mechanisms like high‑value engineering centers and design and construction automation. Take responsibility for benchmarking and tracking those improvements.
  • Serve with the OSEP leadership team to interpret corporate policies, purposes, and goals of organization to staff.
  • Recommend changes in basic structure and organization of the department to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives assigned to it.
  • Facilitate the OSEP Mechanical resources meeting to ensure the efficient, cost‑effective utilization of staff across the GP.
  • Develop, manage department‑wide training.
  • Coordinate with other GFS lane Mechanical Discipline Leads to develop an overall synergistic GFS Mechanical Team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years related professional experience required and must have demonstrated experience with providing technical mechanical engineering leadership across major projects/programs/clients, and within all GFS business lanes.
  • Candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
  • Position requires the ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and develop the organization.
  • Candidates must possess strong business management skills and a strategic perspective.
  • Professional License as a Mechanical Engineer is required.
Compensation

$- Yearly

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year‑end incentive bonus program.
