Operations Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead and expand transportation services throughout the Colorado market. This role offers a clear path to a future leadership position and the opportunity to build and lead a growing transportation team.
Play a key role in driving strategic growth, developing client relationships, and managing transportation projects for public sector clients. Collaborate with senior leadership to shape market strategy, support business development efforts, and oversee project delivery from planning through final design.
Projects may include roadway alignments, intersections, interchanges, drainage and stormwater systems, utility coordination/relocation, and preparation of construction documents. The role may also support regional transportation initiatives outside Colorado as needed.
Responsibilities- Lead planning and design efforts for state and local transportation infrastructure projects
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Colorado transportation market
- Build and mentor a high-performing project team
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, and contract plans
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Strong background in roadway design, drainage, utilities, and related infrastructure
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or Micro Station In Roads
- Demonstrated experience in project management and business development
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
