Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with The Inland Group of Companies to recruit a Project Engineer to join their growing engineering team working in the design, maintenance and upgrades of their chemical processing facilities and equipment. This innovative and hands‑on position will be based out of their facilities in Denver, CO by the Denver Airport.

Role DescriptionReporting to the Engineering Manager, the Field Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Project Engineers and team on the full life cycle of key engineering projects from initial planning and scope definition, through to execution, implementation, and final evaluation. This is a critical role supporting Inland’s ongoing efforts to develop and enhance industrial systems across operations, with projects often involving mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering components.
You will coordinate resources, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure successful outcomes across multiple complex projects.
The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative and engineering team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Inland’s technology-driven operations. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to engage in hands‑on project work that supports both operational excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior leadership to define project scopes, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
- Prepare and maintain detailed work plans, project documentation, and reporting tools.
- Support project teams and/or oversee subvendors, ensuring alignment with safety and organizational policies.
- Liaise with and communicate status updates to management and internal stakeholders to ensure that deliverables meet specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture and environmental responsibility throughout project execution.
- Support a collaborative, respectful workplace culture by fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent years of progressive experience in fluids production and plant management.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in industrial equipment and systems development.
- Hands‑on experience in design, construction, and commissioning phases of engineering projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills; comfortable working under pressure and shifting priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of new challenges.
Valid driver’s license and passport, with eligibility to travel internationally.
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance for access to restricted airport areas.
Working ConditionsThis is a full‑time hybrid position (minimum 40 hours/week). The Field Engineer can anticipate approximately 15–20% travel, with occasional increases up to 30% during peak project periods.
This role includes hands‑on involvement in commissioning, troubleshooting, and construction tasks. Applicants must be physically fit and capable of meeting fieldwork demands. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ability to work safely in high‑risk environments is required.
