About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our client's growing MEP engineering team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in electrical design who's eager to grow, learn, and be mentored while contributing to impactful projects across a wide range of industries.

You'll work on projects spanning commercial, airport, industrial, residential, and mixed-use developments-helping design smart, sustainable, and efficient building systems that make a real difference.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop electrical systems for MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical and plumbing engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver coordinated, code-compliant designs.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses, including load studies, short circuit analysis, voltage drop, and energy efficiency.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to support project delivery and ensure compliance.

Stay current with industry codes, standards, and emerging technologies.

Requirements
What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering or MEP design (not entry-level, but not highly senior).
• Strong foundational skills in electrical design with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools such as SKM, ETAP, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• PE license not required.
• A growth mindset-someone who's hungry, coachable, and eager to develop.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
