- Lead electrical design for Battery Energy System Storage (BESS) facilities.
- Manage electrical engineering staff on diverse and challenging projects across our portfolio of design services and EPC programs.
- Oversee electrical design quality, budget, and schedule.
- Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers.
- Develop knowledge and provide guidance on design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and B&V policies; give technical direction on projects and disciplines.
- Apply B&V quality program to assigned tasks, ensuring compliance and fostering continuous improvement and change management.
- Prepare complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects; conduct research and develop equipment/materials recommendations; manage data for engineering work; produce calculations following standard methods and principles.
- Manage project budget, schedule, and quality requirements; delegate tasks to junior team members; review lower‑level engineering work.
- Coordinate with internal and external team members on moderately complex projects.
- Assist with identifying key client interests and drivers on low‑ to moderately complex projects; communicate these to the project team and develop approaches to address them; support business development or pursuit activities.
- Serve as a technical specialist offering consultation and guidance; design complete projects of moderately complex scope or support multiple projects tackling technical challenges.
- Mentor and provide coaching to lower‑level professionals; participate in performance management, career planning, and learning initiatives.
- Assist with resource management strategy and accountability for engineering resources in small discipline groups.
- Handle administrative responsibilities such as approving timesheets and expense reports, ensuring adherence to corporate and division programs, and effectively implementing work‑group policies and procedures.
- Electrical Professional Engineer’s license in a US jurisdiction.
- Consulting experience (BESS experience preferred).
- EPC execution experience.
- Strong communication skills with internal interdisciplinary teams and external clients and construction teams.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program and a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
