The Opportunity


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• In support of and alignment to growth strategy for the BV Water Solution Business in the West region, create relationships with clients and act as a liaison between the local design team, client, and remote design teams.
• Lead business development efforts for I&C-related master plans and design projects. Expectation is to produce marketing content specific to each pursuit, negotiate contracts, and lead projects.
• Pursue and lead SCADA Assessments and Master Plans to advise utilities on how best to upgrade or replace existing SCADA systems to support operations and maintenance.
• Manage and coordinate marketing, planning, design and construction phase services for automation, instrumentation, control and SCADA projects for water and wastewater utilities and industrial water pursuits.
• Lead execution and take overall responsibility for I&C design projects as well as coordinate I&C engineering efforts for large multi-discipline projects.
• Provide local interface by attending client and contractor meetings, performing field investigations, attending factory acceptance testing, and helping to resolve I&C client and construction issues.
• Monitor and control project schedule and budgets and assist with proposals and presentations in response to sales opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

• The successful candidate will possess a mix of excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, demonstrated management capabilities, I&C design experience, and broad I&C technical knowledge.
• 10 years' experience in instrumentation, control, and automation design consulting
• 4 years' experience in water/wastewater industry
• 2 years' experience in project management and business development.

Minimum Qualifications


Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in Engineering work. Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
