They are currently looking to start 2026 off strong by making their next strategic hire and bringing in a skilled electrical engineer to join their new electrical department in Denver. This hire will be given the unique opportunity to play a key role within a new department at a reputable firm, whilst also progressing quickly under great mentorship!
Key Responsibilities- Plan and engineer electrical systems for diverse MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting layouts, and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Work closely with mechanical and plumbing engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure integrated, code-compliant project delivery.
- Perform technical calculations and analyses such as load studies, short-circuit evaluations, voltage drop calculations, and energy efficiency assessments.
- Develop detailed construction drawings, technical specifications, and project cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits and field inspections to verify installation accuracy and support successful project completion.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and emerging technologies within the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP electrical design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical analysis/design software such as SKM, ETAP, or comparable tools.
- Strong understanding of NEC requirements, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
