Position: Electrical Estimator I

$70k – $85k + Vehicle + Strong benefits

Key Responsibilities
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and proposal documents.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for materials and basic labor.
  • Assist in preparing electrical cost estimates and client proposals.
  • Gather, evaluate, and organize vendor and supplier pricing.
  • Enter and maintain data in estimating software and Excel.
  • Maintain organized proposal files, takeoffs, and pricing records.
  • Support senior estimators during proposal reviews and go/no-go strategy discussions.
  • Learn company estimating standards, pricing logic, and project selection criteria.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to read basic construction drawings
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Professional written communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Electrical field experience
  • Exposure to estimating software (Accubid or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and the NEC
  • Coursework or degree in electrical, construction management, or related field
Work Environment
  • Primarily in-office (Denver-area)
  • Occasional flexibility in work hours
  • Periodic job site exposure for learning and context
  • Deadline-driven but collaborative and supportive team environment
