• Design telecommunications cable infrastructure to support IP based connections including Voice, Data, Wi‑Fi, Audio Visual, CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection. This includes detailed internal building layouts, as well as exterior campus connectivity.
• Design specifications, configuration, and commissioning of large scale local, integrated, and network-based systems.
• Provide construction oversite, including specification and contract drawing compliance, conduct site visits and write construction observation reports.
• Stay up to date on the latest technology and trends in the industry.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, from four‑year college or university (preferred)
• Consulting engineering with 5+ years’ of telecommunication systems design experience
• Knowledgeable in industry standards including TIA/EIA, BICSI and IEEE.
• Must be available to travel occasionally
• Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Registration as a Professional Engineer
• BICSI Certified Installer
• BICSI RCDD
• BICSI DCDC

Salary range of $90,000 - $130,000 and will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
