Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Colorado structural engineering team consists of engineers with a range of experience, working on water infrastructure projects locally and across the Midwest. • Plans, monitors and manages structural engineering scope and schedule for successful completion of mid-sized projects or assists senior engineer on large-sized projects.
• Completes analysis and design of structural concepts to advance design with assistance from senior engineer, if necessary.
• Attends project meetings and represents the structural discipline in project meetings
• Conducts on-site investigations and evaluations of existing structures, including the preparation of reports
• Works with other project team members to understand and integrate their requirements into the structural design
• Determines required effort and prepares estimates for cost and schedule of structural engineering services for design and construction
• Develops project-specific designs, standards, specifications and details for unusual or unique situations

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis
• Minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably in the design of water and wastewater treatment structures
• Expert in the application of building codes and code-referenced standards for design of water treatment and industrial structures in concrete, steel, and reinforced masonry
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of specifications for construction using concrete, masonry and steel
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of presentation of structural design and detailing in construction documents.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Office
