Role Overview
Seeking a Project Manager with strong expertise in water and wastewater system planning. The role centers on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, master planning, and client-supported system improvements across municipal utility networks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead development of traditional and integrated master plans for water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities
- Conduct detailed data analyses: sanitary/storm flows, water demand forecasting, hydraulic conditions
- Perform system modeling (Autodesk Ino Viz, XPSWMM, Bentley, DHI MIKE or equivalent)
- Draft conceptual site plans, technical memoranda, cost estimates, and regulatory deliverables
- Support permitting, alternatives analyses, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical leadership in modeling and planning efforts
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships; assist with proposal development and project scope definition
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 7–15 years of relevant experience in system modeling, utility planning, and engineering project management
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license required or eligible for reciprocity
- Proficiency with GIS, CAD, Word, Excel, and hydraulic modeling tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at engaging clients and cross-functional teams
- Highly motivated, creative, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects independently
Preferred Credentials: Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Business Administration
Compensation and Benefits- Estimated base salary range: $125,000 – $195,000/year, based on experience, credentials, and location
