HDR is seeking a BIM/Revit Model Specialist to join our Building Engineering Services team in Denver. Our team provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing, site civil, structural, and specialty design services for various building projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining the BIM Execution Plan, setting up MEP Revit models, and maintaining discipline models. Additionally, they will generate BIM elements, create detailed drawings, and produce discipline-specific documentation.
Primary Responsibilities:- Create and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
- Set up MEP Revit models for projects
- Maintain discipline models, including project information and digital delivery output
- Generate BIM elements based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams using Revit
- Produce discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations
- Monitor and maintain company standards and model health
- Work with clients or contractor representatives using the BIM model for review purposes
- Drafting experience using Revit with proficiency
- Extensive knowledge of BIM, design phases, construction documents, and technical and engineering knowledge
- Experience in BIM production (either building modeling or process piping modeling)
- Basic understanding of MEP disciplines and how they interact with other discipline designs
- Navisworks and BIM
360 experience preferred
- Technical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experience
- Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
- Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
- Experience with 3D Coordination tools
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits
