What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering projects under the guidance of senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design & Technical Expertise: Prepare civil engineering designs, including grading, roadways, stormwater networks, utility improvements, and pipe networks using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Storm

    CAD, MHFD design worksheets, SWMM, and Water

    CAD.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with review agencies, respond to plan review comments, and manage client communications to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Documentation & Analysis: Develop construction documents, specifications, entitlement documents, permit applications, and supporting calculations (e.g., storm drain, wastewater, earthwork quantities, and cost estimates).
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance to team members, perform QA/QC reviews, and foster the growth of junior staff through mentorship.
  • Project Management: Work within budget and schedule constraints, exercising judgment and independence on smaller projects while supporting larger initiatives.
Who You Are

We’re looking for a motivated professional who embodies our values and brings the following qualifications:

  • Education & Licensure: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado (or eligibility for reciprocity).
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Storm

    CAD, MHFD design worksheets, SWMM, and Water

    CAD.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in civil site design and project coordination, with a strong understanding of site development (water systems, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, roadways).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills; thrives in a team-oriented environment; detail-oriented yet able to grasp conceptual development.
  • Mindset: Results-driven, reliable, and passionate about delivering exceptional work while prioritizing the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
