Base Pay Range

$69,500.00/yr - $/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document telecommunications systems for advanced facilities, including Outside Plant (OSP), backbone distribution systems, communication room layouts, rack elevations, wired and wireless device plans, and cable schedules.
  • Use Revit (and occasionally AutoCAD) to create fully coordinated 3D BIM models across all design disciplines.
  • Produce 2D construction drawings and ensure designs meet NEC, TIA, and other industry standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, discipline leads, architects, and engineers to deliver accurate, constructible solutions.
  • Lead portions of design work with oversight, expanding technical and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in telecommunications systems design for complex facilities.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in telecommunications design and construction.
  • Knowledge and application of BICSI design practices, NFPA 70 (NEC), and TIA standards.
  • Experience leading telecommunications design teams.
  • Knowledge of design and construction specifications and experience estimating and scheduling projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience designing for semiconductor, data center, or advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • Project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks.
  • Experience with paging, intercom, audio‑visual, life safety, security, control systems, and network topology.
  • Certifications:

    RCDD, DCDC, OSP, or RTPM.
