Job Description:
Our client, a leading consulting firm specializing in power infrastructure (Utility and Clean Energy) is seeking a motivated Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will support electrical design projects and serve as in‑house engineering for our electrical contracting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electrical design work for a variety of projects, including utility, Clean Energy and Critical Power.
- Develop and analyze single‑line diagrams, Arc‑Flash Studies, Specifications, and coordinate technical procurement.
- Ensure designs comply with industry best practices, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver subject matter expertise.
- Participate in occasional site visits and field inspections to ensure project specifications are met.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, estimates, and technical reports.
- Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Must currently hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM Power Tools.
- Previous experience in utility, clean energy, or federal designs.
- Knowledge of federal contracting requirements and procedures.
